Photographer’s Note
Photo was taken during beautiful, sunny day. When the weather is so wonderful, a lot of people decide to visit Preikestolen. That's why on the 'Pulpit Rock' there is a crowd of people:) Most of them rest after difficult two hours hike and watch stunning views:)
About Preikestolen
Pulpit Rock or Preikestolen, is a natural rock formation with a 25 meter squared plateau standing 604 meters above the sea. Thousands of tourists visit the Rock every year. The trip takes about two hours by foot (3,8 km), but the rock formation can also be enjoyed from the sea by boat. The original name of the rock formation is "Hyvlatonnå" - which means the tooth of a woodplane. Todays name could have its origin in the shape or possibly be due to that it might have been a place of sacrifice. (from www.stavanger-web.com)
I hope You like it:)

What a wonderful view. I can imagine that you can stay for ours here. I like the composition it is only a pitty that the sky is a bit burnd. The use of a skylight filter or polarizer had help to get it right. Keep on posting

Hello Zuzanna,
I agree with KIKs, it's a wonderful view but the highlights are so heavy that they are becomming cyan insted of blue. In a workshop I adjusted first the lighting balance between the fore- and background and second the color of the sky. I hope you you don't mind the changes. A big smile for the view and the two hours trip...

Guy

Hello Zuzanna,
This is a very good point of view to show Preikestolen!
And you were so lucky to have a crowd up there this fine day...
Good details and a fine sense of depth, difficult light quite well managed!

Wonderful shot!! The small people give the scale to the picture, which makes us feel the vastness of the mountains and the river. I love the misty feeling in the blue sky and river. The holiday mood of the people also makes the picture even more pleasurable. Excellent pov to capture all this. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Zuzanna,
I have seen Pulpit Rock from the sea, and photographs of people acting recklessly on the edge, but this is an unusually revealing image of the structure — the size and height, and the numberless tourists actually climbing the remarkable site. You have some compelling images in your gallery, and I hope to visit again.
Warm regards,
Bulent

To my estimate the size of the rock is at least 20x20m.
So..., how about 400 m2. At least.
Btw, not bad picture.
