Photographer’s Note
1 step forward would be killing me without any doubt. A 1000m drop down to sealevel without any ledges, just staright down. Lysefjord is truely a magic place. I never felt as small as in this awesome surrounding. Some 100m left of the place I took this picture you can find the famous Kjeragbolten, a stone stuck in a cleavage 1000m above ground. The waterfall on the left (over 700m) makes it even more beautiful... What I find interesting are the little rocks on top of the cliff on the left. Remains of the glaciers.

Andreas,
Your recent photos are quite spectacular. Of course, you are not including tourists in your photos. But I'm curious: Are there a lot of tourists there? (I suppose it's not like the Grand Canyon during the summer- hopefully.) How far do you need to hike to view the fjord?
BTW: Mady and I can't wait to move to Europe and become tourists. We plan to exchange our house in Peynier with homes throughout Europe. I can't think of a better way to share different cultures and experiences.
Regards,
Randy
