[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I believe it is about time I gave an example og lovely Norwegian summer nights.
Being as it is the sun has now turned and the days will gradually get shorter. Being as far north as Norway is, it is never truly is a full dark night during the summer months. No matter how late it might be, the sun is always just behind the horizon giving light to the sky.
Further north however, there is the midnight sun, and ofr a period of summer the sun never sets at all. It just sort of dips a bit closer to the horizon before it strats rising again.

This photo was taken some 200 meters from my house one evening earlier this month. The height is about 80 meters above sea level, viewing direction is about NW and the total visible range in this photo is about 70km.

I will have to stope the note here for now, it is late and I really need some sleep.
I hope you like the photo.

Odd Jarle

Hi Odd,

Beautiful gradients of color. I like how little land and sea you have included .. almost an abstract. I love how you get a feel of the infinite world to the left and right even with you vertical frame.

take care.

John
