Photographer’s Note

..and then there was light
We had the other day a strong gale along the coast. So I decided to go out to the sea already at 05.30 in the morning to get a fresh photo of the rough October weather.
My nearest opportunity is the outer Oslofjord, app. 100 km from where I live - and then a small hike of some 45 minutes to face the open ocean.

With gale, rain and hail not the best conditions for the camera - neither for my GoreTex cloths - wet right to the skin. But very FUN asking me. I had the tripod with me and it had to be kept very firm to the ground to not blow away. What a morning.

At the moment for this photo I was in shelter behind a wall of a closed summer house – wind and rain whipping behind me. Looking at my side I could see the little gap in the clouds and the devine light shining down to the small islands directly to some electric poles out there. Alone in close encounter with the nature it feels special to meet such moments.
