A new spring with Nokia
After being robbed in France it takes time getting new: Passport, driving license, bank cards, mobile phone and so on....
The new mobile is now in place: Nokia N95 8 GB with a 5 mill pix. camera (2592 x 1944 piksler) with a Carl Zeiss lens.

Here a little test displaying the ability for a phone to do more than make a call...

Hi Jack,
I was very sorry to read what had happened to you in France adn I hope it's not too much of a hassle doing all the paper work to get everything back to normal. I am quite impressed by the quality of this photo and if you had not mentionned that it was taken with a Nokia phone, I never would have guessed. Make you wonder why we spend wo much money on camera gear. Well, my old mobile doesn't have a camera so maybe that still gives me an excuse to keep my 5D!

Yes, travelling not only educates ... ;-) What a pity!
Well, photographer's life goes on - and as we can see, in a good way. An astonishing and beautiful picture (- although taken with a Nokia. Perhaps you know that Nokia gave up its manufacturing here in Germany. More than 2000 people lost their work. Nokia here at the time is a provocative word). Nevertheless - you show us an inviting place here - full of spring atmosphere. Really beautiful...

I like the natural gentle colours and the contrast between the old wooden house and the new blue heralds of spring !
Your point of view is "down to earth" and very original :o)

Pour dire que cette image a été prise avec un téléphone portable. Le réusltat est assez réussi.
les couleurs sont très bonnes et la composition très bien pensée.
Désolé pour le vol dont tu as été la victime ! J'espère que tu es bien assuré et que tout rentrera dans l'ordre..

Nice horizontal layering using the rule of thirds. Good color, sharpness & composition, with marvellous repetition of the blue flowers. Tfs!

excellent a definition of this photograph, therefore I of concluded that you will give up your olympus for the nokia..... not I laugh, beautiful POV as you can do them

Blue Scilla together whit hazy lemon green is the color temprature of spring, a very good spring image indid. the houses in the BG makes me really curious maybe a close up later or in the workshop
