Photographer’s Note

December afternoon
Just a continuation from yesterday when I had a post called December morning - and here then,the afternoon of the same day. It may look likes evening to you but the time is just 4:14 pm and the days are very short up here in the north.

For anyone in for the domestic side of things this photo is a shot out of my kitchen window, still no snow but the rime frost on the soil seems almost warm in the artificial light of the street lamps.

Hei Jack,

Nice winter scene. I really like the mood and the contrast in this photo. It looks as if it's shot trugh a livingroom window, due to some reflection. Other than that this is a nice winter scene. TFS.

A nice colour contrast, between the yellow & blue, with superb sharpness & framing. A good blue hour shot with a good upward pov. Tfs!

Indeed I see no snow, maybe you get a white christmas.
You took this image very low this gives a excellent composition, also through the street lanterns.

Hello Jack,
plus on monte vers le nord et plus les journées sont courtes bien évidemment et cela permet de faire des photos nocturnes encore relativement tôt dans la journée.
Belle ambiance de lumières et de couleurs, mais on voit les reflets de l'intérieur de ta cuisine.
