Photographer’s Note
There was a little wind and some snow falling this morning. But the surface of the sea looked complete still for my eye.
I tried a shot with f/22 and 5 sec. shutter speed. And voila - there was some motion all over. Look to the soft surface of the sea only due to some motion out there. And the boats, the little blur and softness again thank's to the never resting sea. But I liked it as is
Worth mentioning the building in the back. Engelsviken canning - a place where thay make the best anchois filets in the world (..that is; Should you ask me :-)

hi jack, a clever way of "revealing" the motion from a still surface of the sea;
initially i thought the shot was shaken bbut after analysing the picture i found a pleasent blur of the water against still details on the banks;
very nice work;
have a nice day,
jerzy

I like the soft touch here. And in general too. I'm often turned off by artificial sharpening which is a trend here in TE. I don't really care about individual pixels.
Good colour combination of white, red and dark greyish blue. The crop feels a bit tight on top.

Bonjour mon ami Jack,
Ici, tout semble figé par le froid, l'hiver porte des coups rudes à la navigation. L'on dirait que le temps s'est arrêté.
Une bien jolie composition hivernale.
Amitiés.

Pleasant result, Jack - the overall soft appearance works out fine on this one and the fact that it looks like this with a 5 sec exposure makes me think it must have been a quite overcast morning. Fine framing and nice vivid colors in the winter surroundings.

Hi Jack, I like the peaceful and quiet environment you have depicted in this picture. Nice capture of the quiet marina in the winter time with the signature house in the background. A nice capture of the beautiful reflections. Well done.

Hi Jack
Great colourful buildings and boats against the almost black water. Neat diagonal composition and I really like the way you've used the slow shutter speed to blur the ripples on the surfact of the water.
Well done

Hej Jack,
Great idea to captured this view with that shutter speed. I like the effect of the smooth water it creates. Nice reflections too. Well done!
