Hello Jack,
It certainly is a picture of immense tranquility.....such perfectly still waters amongst the picturesque location. Your compo is excellent providing good depth to the shot, and the small wooden pier in the foreground adds some additional interest. Very well captured.

Une très belle lumière dans cette image. J'aime bien l'avant plan coloré qui attire le regard et offre un bon point d'accroche. Le lac donne une très bonne sensation de calme et de serennité.
L'image manque toutefois de netteté.

This is really Scandinavian. Your picture is really wellcomposed with the rock and the pine tree in the foreground. You have also captured the late autumn feeling in a wonderful way. I love it. TFS and have a nice Sunday!

Quiet and soft and fine image.
A very spectacular picture, very pleasant for look it.
These colours are marvelous and the pov and depth excellents.
Nice perspective through the excellent choice of your angle, together with the reflection.
Anyway, it's an interesting photo of this traditional practice and your note is fascinating with the peom of John Lennon, too. TFS.

A splendid image of Scandinavian landscape. Very rappresentative of the special light and atmosphere you find over there. The light I remember best from my travel. Lovely composition where the tree at the left gives resonance to the whole image.
The words of J. Lennon sounds so sad in the today world where divisions and hate prevail.
