Spot the red cabin
In our small country in the far north (for many) there is a land of forests and lakes. And in the country with a population less than 5 mill. there is app. 400.00 cabins/cottages (holiday homes). A surprisingly high number of this are painted in red colour.

In this setting from the southeast part of the country, close to the Swedish border a typical landscape detail: The small lake, the huge forest and in the back the typical little red cabin/cottage.

Yes, it is very lovley view. Some years ago I was in Norway. It is very interesting country with beautiful nature. Yes, I remember red houses... Well done.

I envy Norwegian to have so much beautiful nature, and many places to isolate myself, rest. These lakes must be very full of fish. It is an excellent image made with effectiveness and humour. Cheer.

Hello Jack,
Colors are clear and pure; details are sharp. The little red cabin across the lake adds nice depth to the picture. There is a mood of tranquility on a lazy summer day. Splendid!

Hello Jack,

Norway and the thousands lakes, we see here one Lake with green trees around, splendid place for a good pausing middle of the nature.
I like the small moving on the water with the wrinkles, this gives a nice composition.

Deux ans après, mes enfants parlent encore des nuits passées dans les "cabins" et de leur envie de retourner en Norvège. Une vision bien semblable à ce que l'on a pu voir pendant notre séjour. Un lac entouré de forêts avec ça et là des spots rouges...

Beautiful landscape in this border region, even the real icon; the red little cottage by the lake. How exotic this may look to all viewers outside Sweden and Norway! Still, this is very typical and very beautiful.
