When will it be Spring? Photo

Photographer’s Note

At the Botanical Gardens in Oslo.

Although it is March there was still a thick covering of snow on the ground and the temperature close to freezing point - Spring is still a bit away here!!!

This was my first visit to Scandanivia and I was very taken with Oslo. It was nice to see so much snow, its just how I had imagined Norway to be.

Very nice picture... symetric, there are few but pretty colors here.
I understand your title!... sometimes a hotter environment is desired.
I live in a hot land, and I like it too much. But be patient, in your next visit maybe you will find Spring.

Hello Finlay,
The restricted palette makes a very effective image when added to the strong shapes and perspective. One shot where a white sky is a positive thing!

Nice symmetric composition of this delicate landscape. The warm colors of the trees are well contrasted by the white snowy ground.
