Impressive! It looks exactly as cold as you say it is! I love the colours of the sun which you can see in the "smoke"/fog above the water. The effect the sunlight has on the tree on the right, is really beautiful as well. Great POV!!

The smoky effect due to the evaporation in fading side lght has given a 3D effect.

A well executed shot and good use of the ND filter to balance the exposure.

Splendide ! Les teintes dorées du coucher de soleil sont bien retransmise par la brume à la surface de ce lac ! La lumière est presque brillante sur la neige !
J'apprècie tout particulièrement le coté droit de l'image qui est magnifique avec ces branches de sapins délicatement léchées par cette douce lumière !

Another magical photo, gorgeous light and lovely golden tints. The sunlight and mist create a wonderful effect. The light on the snow in the foreground adds a nice frame and the movement of the water complements well the static trees. A wonderful image!

Hello Jack,

I don't know how I missed this gem, one of the most beautiful photographs I've seen in your gallery or at TE. The note brings reality to the situation, -20°C (or -4° Fahrenheit, which does not sound as bad). The low angle of the setting sun creates a fantastic glow in the mist rising from the water.

A dreamy atmospheric photo Jack.
Amazing light makes everything to look like if Hlios (The Greek God) tries to give all his gifts to this landscape making it with his gold rays a place for Gods or for very lucky people.
