Hi Jack, beautiful shot. The deep snow on the buildings and ground, with that deep blue (from blue hour) are good on their own, but then when you throw in the moon reflecting off those clouds it becomes awesome. Very nicely done.

This is a really fine blue hour shot. The moon illuminates the scene beautifully giving it a nice blue hue. This would make a great Christmas card!

Hi Jack,

Technically enough to shoot with 1/4. But I do think that the light and shades of the moonlight would have come out must stronger if you just had set it to iso100, f/11, 10 seconds. Then again, I'm wondering if you had a tripod with you :-). Compliments for your steady hand by the way!! ;-)

The luminosity of the moon is excellent and that gave you a very beautiful light on the snow and these small country cottages. One has the impression that it acts of a scene painted straight left a book of history for Christmas.

Hi, Jack. Very nice atmosphere in this one. I like the blue cast on the snow that gives the impression of the day ending and of the cold as well. The trees provide good contrast and the moon is an interesting presence in the sky.

I like pictures lit by moonlight, normally they require tripod and much longer exposure though. Anyway you achieved here an excellent result that in addition to that special light delivers excellent winter fairy.

I've know this years ago at Xmas in Iceland, a pure, wondrous mood of the North...with that unique light. This is like a dream postcard, you have a firm hand and it's a good result and beautiful blue hour tone. Great appearance of the moon...I may have liked to see a little less snow in the fg, maybe:-)
