Photographer's Note
Jotunheimen National Park is one of Norway's best wilderness destinations. It has a network of hiking trails leading to some 60 glaciers and to the country's loftiest peaks. The trails pass through ravine-like valleys and past deep lakes and plunging waterfalls. Huts and private lodgings are along many of the routes. The park is on the road between Sogndal and Lom, in central Norway.
Jotunheimen is the most impressive mountain region in Norway. Here are Norway's highest peaks Galdhøpiggen 2.469 m and Glittertind, 2.452 m, an enormous expanse of mountains, glaciers, lakes and waterfalls. Jotunheimen has over 60 glaciers, but relatively small and more than 250 peaks over 1900 m (6000 ft).
Jotunheimen is criss-crossed by valleys, which split it up into ridges and high plateaus. Between the Leirdal and the Vistdal is the centre of Jotunheimen with the Galdhø plateau with the Mount Galdhøpiggen, to the E of which is Glittertind. Gjende, Bygdin and Tyin Lakes are of striking beaty. The most varied plant-life occurs on parts of mountains containing chalk or slate. Wild reindeer have virtually now dissappeared. Flocks of tame reindeer are kept by Lom and Vågå farmers. There are still trout and red char to be caught in rivers and lakes.

Een weg verre van overal, geluiden als hier, 1300km van de meest dichtbijgelegen stad. Ik houd van de schaduwen en het contrast evenals de sterke groene intensiteit... te vergeven gelieve mijn Nederlands.

Wonderful greens. I specially like the light spells and the road across the diagonal of the picture, if a but I would like to see some more space on the top of the hill.

That's great quality, Lucie !
The differences of luminosity are perfectly managed and this bright diagonal makes a superb graphism.
I said : that's great quality, as well this one as your whole portfolio.

Spectacular shot, Lucie. Very well seen how this road is winding like a snake through this valley. I love these green colors produced by the light and shadow play. Very good shot.

Good photo Lucie!
I like the zig zag road cutting across the photo in this diagonal way. The contrast between the sunny and cloudy landscape works well.
Well done!

Hi Lucie
You did a good job in the compo of this photo. the diagonal road is essential and together with the great light effect and saturated colours it all adds up to a very good total.

Wow - wonderful. As the others have already written, the winding road absolutely makes this shot. One of the strongest composition elements that can be imagined, it leads the eye on a journey through those wonderful blue and green textures. The few patches of sunlight are perfectly located, like in a painting.
Congratulations and best wishes,
Oliver
