A desolated road cross in the mountains of central Norway. Cold and grey July day typical for the first part of our summer up here. A private toll road gives the choice of which direction to choose..

Hi Jack,

a very impressive photo. The dramatic clouds caught my eye in the thumbnail already. And watching the large picture I realized how green the grass is.
I like the contrast of the simplicity of lonely object on the one hand and the heavy clouds on the other.
Nice POV and a very good postproduction!
BTW: Which direction did you choose?

Hi Jack, Cold and grey day? It means I was more lucky, i had two weeks of splendid weather in Norway, with a lot of sun and no rain. But the clouds look terrific. Nice wild place.

une image ou le ciel semble éffleurer le sol tellement il est bas etun relief extra en plus des couleurs contraste qui donne une ambiance dramatique comme tu aimes les faire

I have just seen your serie on flick and I must say you made an interesting repotage, good photo like this one, the one with the cows is also a good photo but even I like this one to, good composition fine wide, fantastic sky, have a nice evening Jack.

Very dramatic! What a great sky. Seems like a strange place to put a notice board when there's nobody there to see it on a regular basis! Looks like the prelude to Armageddon! Very nicely done showing a good mix of menace and beauty.

joli prise de vue depuis un point de vue bien choisi. Je trouve le ciel tout à fait splendide. L'effet 3D est ici parfait. On a vraiment un sentiment de solitude et d'isolement en observant cette image.
Je n'aimerais pas tomber en panne ici !

WOW,
What an amazing photo. Great composition and stunning colours. The clouds are truly incredible - like a liquid silver - I live the contrast of the clouds - clearly white plus dark grey.
