Last report of snow...
Hopefully no more winter. In no higher altitude than some 883m we can still go skiing - but who cares...
It's May 8th. and for me another trip to my place up in the mountains in central Norway...

Have a top weekend out there with this little report from one up here in the hight north playing with his mobile phone camera...

Bonsoir, cher Jack,

Bien vu !

Hi Jack,
Lovely spring day. Remaining snow works well for providing highlights. Interestin picture to show what N95 can do, and maybe a little of it's limitations too, on small details.

Hello Jack

I'll bet you're glad to see the last of the winter / Spring snows? Good compositional placement of the tree, with superb color, lighting & sharpness. Tfs!

Quite good quality for a mobile phone pic, Jack. Also a pleasant framing with a good balance between the tall foreground tree and the cottage. Vivid colors and good lighting.

For a mobile phone picture the quality is extraordinarily good. I hope the snow has melted before we arrive in Norway in a week time.
Have a nice weekend
John

Hi Jack.

Nice mix with the snow and the vegetation, really difficult to enjoy here.

Well done!

lol, jack... here we are... gathering magnolia, tulip, narcissues shots and you show us SNOW... shot just a couple days ago :)) a nice shot, by the way, i like the contrasts of the saturated blue against the white. and the warm light suggests that this snow really is soon about to melt. fresh green to follow. i hope you share that with us too :)

warm regards,
kristaps

Hi Jack
It's relative
Spring comes more later in your country.
Very nice patches of snow on the ground, nice picture with your mobile phone.
Cheers.

Jack,
Very nice photo to have been taken by a camera phone. Your composition is fine including the trees and snow in the foreground with the cabin in the center of the shot. The trees frame the cabin nicely focusing our attention to it. The lighting and colors are great with good sharpness and detail. The camera in not as good as you normal equipment, but it is not bad.
TFS,
Asa
