Photographer’s Note

First, happy new year to all! I wish you great photo's for 2007!

Today, it's almost 4 years I know Trekearth and I hesitated a long time to choose 1 picture. I wanted to post a great experience of my life thanks to TE. I could post a photo from one of the TE meeting I have been (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Switzerland or Fagnes were also great experience)... but finally I choose to post a picture of Jack (jrj)'s cottage in Norway.

Thanks to him, I spent a very nice evening and it was also a pleasure to spend the night in a warm "hytter" ;)

This is a beautiful image with beautiful colours. What more can I say, it is very pretty. Congratulations on being a member of TE for 4 years. I bet you have learnt a lot in that time.

Hi Fred, A lovely composed shot, i think the pastel colours are superb, a great choice for your 4th year congratulations, i have only been on TE since Sept 2006 & i love the sight, kind regards Wilson.

Lovely image from our friend Jack´s legendary cottage!

When I look at your photo, I think "this would be a great place to grow old." Warm colors, relaxing, simple, uncluttered, but also with a view looking outwards (looking ahead). Great place to sip coffee and talk with an old friend or spouse.

Salut Fred,
Eh bien bonne année et bon anniversaire sur TE! Quatre ans ça commence à faire un bail... Le choix de ta photo est très bien et je suis certaine que Jack va apprécier que tu fasses un peu de pub pour son chalet. La compo elle-même est également sympa et les deux chaises vides sont une invitation à venir s'asseoir pour profiter des lieux.

Salut, Fred. Il a l'air très confortable, le chalet de notre ami Jack. Bel assortiment de couleurs. Les deux chaises invitent vraiment à s'asseoir et profiter de la forêt que l'on voit se refléter dans la fenêtre. Une composition simple d'où se dégage une impression de quiétude.

A toi aussi une excellente année 2007.

Dear Fred & France
I see it as a great honour, and fun, that you present this little detail from my place as your choice for the marking of the 4th year at TE.
I can see that I should have washed and swept the floor a bit better - beside of that the colourful bag, for bringing logs to the fireplace, and the simple chair details seems in good order...
... not least I find your contribution in well accordance with my own belief where meeting friends of TE - taking some minutes of contemplation in surroundings of nature and friendship must be the best value to have from our interactive life at TE..

Cette image fait une jolie pub et donne envie d'aller rendre visite à Jack.
J'adore ces maisons typique en bois joliment paint. Les chaises originales l'invitent à s'assoir.

D³ugo siê waha³eœ ale piêknie wybra³eœ :) Mia³eœ problem, bo pewnie wszystkie prace œwietne. Ten norweski domek (jedo fragment) przedstawi³eœ piêknie. Te puste krzes³a maja swoj¹ wymowê zaœ ca³oœæ stanowi œliczn¹ kompozycjê.

J'aime beaucoup cetrte composition, qui pour moi est parfaite, les couleurs, le sujet , la simplicité, quand je vois tes photos, je devrais sortir l'eos 350d de sa boîte et commencer à m'en servir...
