Autnum Paint Shop
Probably for those who appreciate the mountains, the desolated landscapes and the quality time you can spend at such places.
This is in the 'neighborhood' of my place up here and I think in this compo there is not one summit I have not visited one ore more times in the last years.

This afternoon with fading light, late in September, with the late brownish colours of the season, the low clouds and some sun spots in the bacground mountain is typical for the season.

Hello Jack,
j'aime toujours me rendre sur tes magnifiques photos paysagères. Ce traitement HDR me plait beaucoup, j'ai déjà commencé à utiliser le bracketing, il me reste à maitriser Photomatix.
Le ciel est superbe, les lumières bien équilibrées avec cette technique.
Excellent POV.

The brown here is charming, anyway I maybe miss details, I see it to dark in foreground, can't do much about the clerity of mountains far away, if there's a bit of fog, I understand the HDR may dark a picture, when deeping tones, but as you wrote that my picture is too dark, and it is, maybe here...
Don't get anger, please, don't take it personally, but you have a lot of pictures much above the quality of all mine put tugether:)))...

Nice "desolate" autumn mood in this one, Jack. I like the wide view across the seaonally dressed landscape, and a moderate sense of "impending doom" conveyed by the heavy-looking cloud cover above the scenery. Greetings from Tokyo.

To me it looks like a painting. A moody shot that reflects the scandinavian soul? Grieg, or more Sibelius??? anyway, a beautiful landscape, well composed and reflecting exactly the mood I'in...dark :~)))!!

Le grand avantage du système HDR est de donner à la composition toutes les subtilités de couleurs, ces dernières sont valorisées et j'ai l'impression que l'on retrouve ce que l'on voit en réel.
Le paysage est de toute beauté.

Hi, Jack. A picture that opens onto a huge panorama. The plateau in the foreground looks very wild with only a few scattered trees. The mountains in the background appear under a threatening sky with nice greyish hues. A typical autumn landscape.

The light is interesting, mostly muted but with some bright spots!
Autumn mood is very evident in the colour palette, dramatic sky with good textures...

A dramatic wind swept landscape. I love the cloud formation and pattern in particular, this really delivers the dramatic scene. The isolated areas of sunlight on the mountain ranges are a nice feature too, as are the brown hues across the landscape. Very good, and moody atmosphere.
