Sheeps in frost morning Photo

Photographer’s Note

If you ever wondered about the use of all this wool - take a look at the bunch of sheeps here in the cold morning, still some -5C, in the night probably -10C.

In the summer the ladies will be out in the open fields of a nearby mountain but after mid September they are down in the valley inside a closed field.

They all looked very interested when the photog stopped for his photo - maybe hoping for an entrance to a warm barn...

Too bad the ones on the right are cut off from the picture.

Very good shot! I like how the frost adds a lot of contrast to the details!
I think the composition can be improved. i tried it in a workshop. hope you find it useful.

Fortunately with their woolen coat they are not cold.
Beautiful centring on this group which seems to wonder what you want!

I like the minimalist color here, & repetition of the sheep. Disagree with the 1st critique, about cropping the sheep at right, but the lead sheep at left has part of its face obscured by the circular feed lot. Wonderful work overall, & a whimsical view of a common everyday farm subject. Tfs!

What first caught my eye was the wonderful harmony of colours !
The black noses , ears and eyes of the sheep set out the flock and the whole scenery !
I like it !

Les ton uniformes sont vraiment beau ! J'aime beaucoup le fait que tous les moutons te regardent. L'impression de froid est bien rendu !

Hi Jack. Very funny - cute, even - how you obviously have everyone's full attention here. The post-work with the clarifying turned out well and further accentuated the cold feel with the frost on the field and sticking to their coats. Nice photo, well seen.

Ineresting pp work. The picture has a gritty feeling to it and I like the way the sheep are looking at the camera. Nice framing, though some are cut off at the edge. Good capture.

exellent sharpness and clarity! i also thinks its funny the way they are looking at you like you doing something wrong, lol.
i notice in your photos a nice techinque that brings out these already amazing photos, how do you do it?
