Very nice photo Allan! Everything looks very still for 2 second exposure! The bending window works well with your black frame. Is it natural light coming in from the top? The rays are quite magicaland having the woman standing there adds to the dimention of the shot. I like it!

Very nice shot and well composed. I'm not sure about it being a 2s exposure though - fish don't stay still for two seconds at a time ;)

Even with a scond, I still find dificult to find fish so sharp... I tried something similar at 1/8s and sttil had blured fish.
Anyway, a magnificent shot.

Hi Allan. great picture with a title that matched my feelings for the picture to the point.
The stillness of the place, the soft light and the vibrant colors make a great picture.
The sharpness on the lady is remarkable for a 1 sec exposure.

A stunningly beautiful picture!
The light coming down on the woman is magical! She is so clear and crisp, illuminated by what could be heavenly rays.
The line in the middle is not only adding depth to the place but interestingly enough also divides the picture into two while also tying it all together. Let me try to explain... on the left hand side there is the big coral-like formation and a good number of fish swimming around, it is busy and full of life. The woman is in stark contrast with all this on going swimming by her still position and the light that is shining onto her.
On the right hand side of the black line, a fish is swimming alone, peacefully, far away from the torments of other fishes (who happen to be following him). In a smiliar way he reflects the woman who is standing alone, unperturbed by the other people. Almost like a mirror image to what is going on outside/inside the fish-tank.
A truly ingenious composition and POV.
A pity that one of the fish in the middle is reduced to a tail. Small details :D

You are right! It is a very peaceful photo. The way her head and body takes a shape against the most beatifully captured light creates an attractive story. Beautiful composition. I think the sharpening of the woman has largely improved the photo. Cheers,
