Photographer’s Note

Waiting... for the last job of the day. But while waiting, we have time to enjoy the view, the colours, the setting sun.
Shot very close to Heidrun in the Norwegian Sea, about 175km west of Kristiansund and unusually calm for the time of year. Tricking the exposure meter to gain the silhouette I managed to capture the view as I saw it. No post processing other than a 1° rotate and crop for the horizon.... Hard to keep straight in a moving boat :(

The name Heidrun incidentally is derived from Heišrśn the goat of Norse mythology who eats the buds from the Lęrašr tree to produce mead (not milk) enough to satisfy all the einherjar every day.
