Photographer’s Note

Well... I live in a sea city, and I can't say that I really love the seagulls... day by day, early in the morning, they gives to me a big noisy wake up... my car is also a victim... :o) ...but sometimes I love they, especially when their presence makes a classic picture more interesting, ...what do you think? :o)

Bel colpo Fabio,
preso al punto giusto! E' già bella la cascata che scende in mezzo al verde intenso (sei stato fortunato che c'era il sole, io questi fiordi li ho visti sempre con la pioggia) il gabbiano sembra che guardi verso di noi, quasi lo facesse apposta a mettersi in posa per la foto.

Well, I understand your reasons, Fabio, but I find the pigeons a bit more annoying... ;-) Great capture of the seagull posing for you while passing by. It's not perfectly sharp but it's still a wonderful bonus for the splendid beauty of the background. Excellent work.

Hi Fabio,
The seagull adds such a great detail in this image that without him it would only another waterfall. This is masterful done in timing and framing...really excellent work...i like it.

Ciao Fabio.
Se ti dicessi che il gabbiano non è perfettamente a fuoco o che tre centimetri d'ala sono fuori dal riquadro potresti mandarmi a pieno titolo a quel paese. In una simile immagine su certi dettagli si passa sopra. Basta solo l'accostamento fra il piano delle ali e la cascata il cui riflesso prosegue nell'acqua per fare di questa immagine un piccolo memorabile capolavoro.

Great shot - Tough to shoot a flying bird but to get it while framing the waterfall - quite amazing!

I like the green shades, theyre strong and pleasing to look at.

Also when they pose for you so beautifully, not overlapping the waterfall you can forgive them some of the nuisance. Perfect timing and framing. Well done

I know exactly what you mean by not exactly loving the seagulls, in Niagara Falls they were all over the place, eating and ... well, doing the other thing :)) but I forgive them if they keep helping you to get great photos, like this one. amazing timing, the seagull is exactly in the right place and does not hide the waterfalls. I don't even dare to mention that the bird seems a bit out of focus, but here is does not matter too much.
I like a lot the lush green colour, it gives the scene a very fresh feeling. excellent work, my compliments.

Hi Fabio, it's the great sample of right timing.. the sea gull is looking at us and its wings are open beautiful standing in the air.. and the waterfall on the right completes the composition in the green environment.. difficult shot, congratulations,

The bird seems really surprised to see you there. As if it was wondering : how did this creature managed to come here from Italy? It has not even wings! Very good timing and the POV on the landscape is beautiful.

Simpatica questa Fabio...molto carina, più che colpo d'occhio qui direi colpo di fortuna! .. comunque alla fine il contributo del pennuto bianco nero ci sta' tutto ad accentuare il contrasto scuro del fiordo con il bianco della cascata...molto ben realizzato!

I tried to catch seagulls in my classic seashore photos, but none of them posed me like this one.
I liked the configuration of the defying seagull to the majestic fall. I enjoyed a lot with dramatic background colors too.
Today I will bring some food to the seashore to make some more poor attempts to catch a photo including seagulls:))
