Photographer’s Note
How can we not think the house Frodo when you see these houses were Saami. The french have called these people: Sami
The zone extends Sami settlement in territories traditionally belonging to four countries: Finland, Norway, Russia and Sweden. The Sami lived in these regions long before there are drawn borders, and that is why Norway recognizes their status as indigenous people.
It took Sami revolt against the establishment of a new dam and the support of the king of Norway for that we give to these people rights, especially the difference.
During the 1980's were founded the Committee for defending the rights of the Sami people, and the Defence Committee of the Sami culture. The law creating the Sámediggi and another grouping several legal provisions relating to the Sami were adopted in 1987.
The first elections to Sámediggi coincided with the elections of 1989 the Norwegian national parliament and the first session of the Sami Parliament was officially opened by King Olav V, on October 7 the same year.

Hi Marie!
I like too much the house next to the lake and the threatening clouds that are gathered from on give him a other aspect! It is as igloo from grass!

Bonsoir Marie

Jean-Pierre

What a cold and lonely looking place, Marie! The steel-like color of the clouds adds to that effect. I imagine the dirt and grass covering the house are quite efficient for keeping warm. Hard to imagine spending months in there, with only dim light outside even in "daytime". Regards, Ken.
