Yes, yes, summers in Bergen are nice, but I miss a real winter day. So this is going to be my annual "complain about-the-winter-photo", but it is true. This winter has been the warmest in at least 150 years and we had only one - 1 - ONE day of snow during the whole winter!
But enough about that. I'll use the opportunity to look back to the 91 consecutive days of snow in 09/10. This picture is actually from the last evening of the 00s, New Year's Eve 2009. This is another panorama from a 20 min walk into the forest from Fløyen. I can really recommend the extra hike if you are in Bergen. You won't see too many tourists, and the view is still great!
The picture is a stitch of 3 I think and I did not use a tripod, but I think I leaned the camera on a bench.

Hello Fredrik - a nice winter's shot here, and I'm amazed to hear that Bergen only received snow once this winter; in Boston we were slammed, with well above average snowfall (and it's not done yet - another possible storm is coming Monday). Of course, weather does not equal climate, and you make a good point regarding the changing climate here, but... I will admit I could go for a winter where I only have to shovel snow once.
The photo itself is beautiful - nice delicate light and the warm glow of lights from the city itself is wonderful against the bluer tone. Thanks!

En mycket tilltalande panoramabild. En fin färgkombination av de mörka blå färgerna och de rosa-röda som återfinns på himlen och i belysningarna på marken. En storslagen utsikt!
Hälsningar från ett likaledes vinterfritt Göteborg

A so beautiful pov on the town with an lovely light and pleasant colors, great result with the light in the horizon and all theses lights in the town, good exposure and choice for this panoramic format.

I love the layer of soft pink light in the horizon and the same colours as dots of light in the city beneath.
