Photographer’s Note
After the Polish Dar Mlodziezy presented yesterday, who remained rather far away for my very short lense (28-85 mm), the good surprise came from the Ukrainian Tovarishch, who began to come really close. These are the first three of the serie of shots taken at that moment, the next and last will be posted tomorrow.

Une belle photo vintage bien exposee et scanee, je la recadrerais volontiers pour avoir moins d'espace perdu en avant plan et a l'arriere

Bonjour Emmanuel,
la distance de ce bateau est optimale, elle dégage de l'espace aurour de lui, tout en étant assez proche pour en distinguer des détails. Des blancs un rien trop exposés mais aussi et surtout, un magnifique ciel derrière.

You photographed this ship exactly from the right distance. By this your photo also shows the wideness of the sea. The dark cloud in background gives a good backdrop the the impressive sunlit ship.
