Photographer’s Note
Yes, you've probably seen a similar shot before so I get low marks on creativity, but I wanted to have at least one typical overview shot of Bergen to include in my Norway section.
This part of the city is called Bryggen, and is a collection of wooden houses reminiscent of Bergen's heyday in late Medieval times as an important commercial port of the Hanseatic League. Fish from northern Norway was one of the most important trading commodities.

Hello Jordan,
You had a very strong light on the façades that didn't make it easy for you.
But I think it's a very nice shot showing the beautiful wooden architecture and specially the vivid colours of the houses under a splendid blue sky.
Further there's also a nice slightly undulating line in the street.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Jordan,
The fact only that you had sun and a clear blue sky in Bergen is already remarkable ;-)
We've seen these houses many times before, but seldom highlighted by the sun which brings out an even more deeper colour toning in to the area. Strange curve in the street, but the picture it self is evry colourful...very nice work.

Jordan,
This is a great shot of Bryggen, I thought it was mine when I first saw it My Shot. . composition is fine. The lighting and colors are great with nice sharpness and detail. The angle of the shot creates nice depth and direction for the shot.

Hi Jordan
I think the DOF is very good such that the entire row of houses is in focus. The colors are nicely saturated so the overall composition is very effective and inviting. Great shot!

Hi, Jordan,
Never mind the independent creativity. This is quite an attractive shot. The low sun angle, the bright paint colors, and the regularity (but not quite uniformity) of the buildings add up to a lovely scene that you've captured very nicely. I also like the presence of people scattered about in different sized groups.
Regards,
- William
