Norway's biggest inland-lake, Mjøsa, is trafficed by an old steam-ship during the summer-season, and along the lake there are built several quays to the ship, "Skibladner". But in the winter, the lake does usually freeze. So what about the quays? Then they look like this.

Very nice composition. I think I might have tried to get a similiar shot from the right side of the quay to put a stronger emphasis on the shadow that it's casting, but maybe this was not a possibility for you? It's a great picture as is. I like it.
