Photographer's Note
Detail on a churchgate in a small village of Norway in Rondane National Park.
Some extra info from Web:
Rondane National Park (Norwegian: Rondane nasjonalpark) was the first national park in Norway, established on December 21, 1962. The park contains a number of peaks above 2000 metres (6560 feet), with the highest being Rondslottet at an altitude of 2178 metres (7146 feet). It is an important habitat for herds of wild reindeer.
The park was extended in 2003, and now covers an area of 963 km² (372 mi²) in the counties Oppland and Hedmark. Rondane lies just to the east of Gudbrandsdal and two other mountain areas, Dovre and Jotunheimen are nearby.

hi viviane, i love this pic - a close up of the gate reveals us details, texture and gives us a feeling how old the building must be; nice artwork

Bravo Viviane !

What a luck that some people don't paint their property too often! The crackling blue paint is wonderful. The contrast with the lock marvellous.

Very carefully made artfull image, Viviane. I like that texture of painted wood. It is allways so, that these old stuffs are interesting and give pleasent feeling.

Hi Viviane, it's lovely to look at the craquelee texture of the paint of this old gate. The patterns that is formed is vert interesting. But that's not all. The rusted, chafed and partly painted over iron forms a very neat contrast. The deep shadows are a treat. The simple and airy frame is very effective. Lovely job!

I still have this one, I mde a workshop two or three days ago, still had not find the time to upload it.
As I am not so fond of the light blue color, I was wondering what it would look like in B&W, probably already triggered by your own use of B&W lately.
The detail is very nice, that's why I wanted to try.

Bonjours Viviane.

Beautiful detail. The textures are very well rendered and the tones very captivating. Only after a while I understood that there’s a shadow! I almost cooked my brain trying to understand why that grey bar was passing behind one part of the lock and in front of the other… Dahhhhh ;-)
