Photographer’s Note

This is nearly the end of the cruise. For the first time since nearly two weeks, we are now seing the coast of Norway, and the next day we will arrive in Kristiansand, the home port of Sorlandet. Just a thin coast line on the horizon for the South of Norway is not as mountainous as the western or northern parts of the country. And another one in workshop to progress a little faster.

For the geographical purists, I am locating this one in "Aust-Agder", but the newt day it will be "Vest-Agder" where Kristiansand is located...

I have a feeling that this voyage can have been a little boring for the viewers, and the real voyage has also been a little boring sometimes. However, you do not cross the Baltic from East to West in just a minute, and the succession of pictures should have given you at least an idea of the time it takes... Just think about the sailors going from Europe to Australia in three months and a crossing of the Horn...
