Hi Nina;
This scene had a lot of potential- but I have to be honest.. this shot needs a bit of work. First of all is the bad cropping as you can see the white border around the right and bottom. Secondly the levels need a strong adjustment as your black are more of a washed out grey. The image itself suffers from a bit of noise (possibly due to scanning), and lastly the image is quite blurred.

Hello Nina,
In the exposure, it could have been sharper, but once again, you demonstrate a good painterly eye. You have placed the sun and its reflection -- not down the middle -- off about 1/3 from one side. Art classes will frequently teach "organization by thirds." Bulent
