Nusfjord is a very small, but beautifully preserved village on the southwestern side of the Lofoten Islands. In the times past its main (or better to say, the only) way of survival was fishing. Therefore, all the houses are near the waterfront, have wooden piers for boats and small shacks for equipment. Nowadays, the village is converted into a sort of an open-air museum (where one has to pay the entry). But above the car-parking there is a free view encompassing all of the village nicely protected in its small bay forking out of the fjord.
In my opinion the Norwegian villages all look very nice, clean, shining and interesting - at least when weather decides to co-operate. |

Hi Kristof,
A very nice view on the harbour of this typical village.
Very colorful and also nicely captured.
Friendly regards,
Eddie
Hi Kristof,
I agree with you that all Norwegian villages look very nice. I really like their colourful wooden houses.
Your picture is really beautiful showing that small village with its little harbour.
The water of the fjord is very dark, probably because it's very deep.
Regards, Paul

Hello Kristof,
Very impressive view from top with huge and splendid cliffs. Colorful, typical facades are makes your frame an attractive one while creating powerful contrasts with dark sea and green. Very good clarity, sharpness in natural colors. Congratulations.
Best Regards,
Ertugrul
Kristof,
This is a great view of this lovely fishing village. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The mountain forms a nice backdrop for the shot. These Norwegian villages always look clean and pristine and this is no exception.
TFS,
Asa
