Shot taken during a kayak raid in Svalbard (Spitzberg). The place is isolated. No one but birds and us. I shot to illustrate how tiny I felt watching the scenery.

That is what I call a photograph. The inclusion of the shadow brings out the vastness of the landscape.

Hi Jean Marc,
I honestly don't understand why this shot got only 2 points until now. You've captured an impressive landscape. The shadows of the clouds on the mountains give a nice effect. I like very much the shadow of the row of people standing there. It gives a good impression of the scales in this landscape. Very well done!

This is an excellent photo! Composition, POV, great detail (shadow of the people) and especially colours are just wonderful.
According to the date this shot was taken, seems that it was a great weather the day I went home from Svalbard. :) But, I think we both know why it's worth to come back there some day in the future...
