And the sun is still high in hte sky.
This is the midnight sun at Longyearbyen in the Spitsberg. Longyearbyen is the capital of the Svalbard. The Spitsberg in one of the island of Svalbard.
There are still in these islands the exploitation of coal mines. You can see some building taht was used for this work.

A not everyday's and inventive picture - and a somehow impressive one! You caught these very special light conditions in a wonderful way and one can feel the atmosphere of this "night" very well. I like this one very much!

I visited the Norway in 2002 and I I could see this beautiful sky. Very good capture, great colors and nice silhouettes.
