Photographer’s Note

The Nordenskiöld Glacier.

Not only the size of a glacier fascinates me, but also that it's possible to hear the ice cracking, when it move towards the sea.

The colour of the water is quite beautiful with the added attraction of the ripples. Then there is the texture of the glacier and finally the silky snowy mountains. Makes me want to visit north Norwat.

Hello Christian,
A well composed image with good details, well visible marks as the glacier is breaking up!
Good light management, giving fine details in all whithe surfaces...
The blue of the sea is amazing!

I love this kind of landscapes, i love places like Svalbard.
The colour and the texture of the sea are great. Only i would have placed the little piece of ice not in the middle of the picture. But it's only a matter of taste.

il y a tellement de magnifiques photos dans cette galerie, et puis elles correspondenr souvent à ce que j'adore, les pays
scandinaves.
Impressionnant glacier à son endroit le plus spectaculaires, quand il se jette dans la mer.
Les couleurs et les lumières sont parfaites
