Beach near Nykvåg Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is also Vesterålen on the island Langøya. When you travel on the 820(this road goes from Sortland to Ramberg) you take somewhere in the middle of this road the turn to Nykvåg/Hovden. This beach lies near Nykvåg.

Nykvåg is also famous of its birdrock full of Kittiwake.

Hi Klara,

ok, in this kind of shot, the major part of the job is done by the landscape itself, but you perfectly did your part by focusing on the stones on the foreground. Welldone!

Hoi Klara,

Ik mis een bepaald licht, iets van warmte, een gloed, begrijp je wat ik bedoel?
Over de compositie niets dan lof, die voorgrond heb je heel erg goed meegenomen en geeft er een enorme diepte aan. Ook hoe die twee toppen uitsteken vind ik zeer fraai in de compositie zitten.

Hello Klara,

This fine capture reminds me I should go to Lofoten and Vesterålen, it is a shame I haven't visited these places yet!
The awesome nature is presented in a balanced composition, taking my attention from the boulders in front to the summits in the back...
The clean crisp air and fine light is outstanding!
