Photographer's Note

Funny? I was a bit confused when I saw this ship on a
parking area on the Norwegian Vesterålen islands. On closer inspection I saw that the parking lot for cars bordered directly on the museum grounds and so gave the impression as if a drunken captain "parked" the ship.

MS "Finnmarken" is now a part of the Express Museum in Stokmarknes. This ship did his service in the time from 1956 to 1993 on the coast of Norway on the route, which is called Hurtigruten. It is 81.3 meters long, 12,6m wide, had a draft of 4.5 m and could carry 425 passengers.
