Sunrise on the fjord Photo

Photographer’s Note

The MS Midnatsol is calling at Ørnes (about 20 to 30 km north of the Arctic Circle) in the early morning. It snowed 10 cm last night, judging by the thickness on the dock.

The sun is just now appearing above the crests of this side of the fjord, its rays reaching timid although partially rorbuer and cabins on the other side of the fjord, frozen in place ... The day starts well ;)

Magnifique l'atmosphère ! on s'y croirait... (brrrrrr)
Ces ombres bleutées, bien mises en valeur par ce blanc captant le soleil...
la belle exploitation des complémentaires, avec ce cabanon rougeâtre qui "colorise" les eaux du fjord...
c'est vraiment superbe,

De très beaux jeux d'ombres et de lumières sur ces arbres plein de givres. Les touches de couleurs apportées par les hyttes sont superbes.
Un très joli coup d'œil et une belle réalisation.

la lumiere est splendide, juste ce qu'il faut pour mettre en vakleur cette petite ferme rouge.
c'est pas fait pour nous rechauffer mais c'est joli.

This is a beautiful winter capture. The red buildings stand out nicely against the white snow. The lighting is great binging our nice detail and creating contrast to the shaded areas of the shot. I visited Norway two years ago and I can't wait to get back, it is such a beautiful place.

Une "fontaine" de lumière comme tu les apprécies qui valorise le rouge de cette cabane, un paysage bien enneigé jusque sur les branches, quelques reflets ... tout y est pour faire une belle photo, c'est bien pris.

Magnifique jeu d'ombre et de lumière sur ces berges gelées. Les touches de couleur apportés par les cabanons réchauffent un peu l'atmosphère de cette superbe composition. Bravo.
