Photographer's Note
Red church built in 1780 with wood brought from Siberia (somewhere I found the information that was thrown out by a sea timber?). Need to go further than Flakstad about 2 km. From the main road, I saw the familiar figure of the church, which led the way with 2 side length of 0.5 and 0.8 km. The church was closed until 25.06, so I could only dream of altar older than the church itself and the desktop Godfred painted by Ezekiel of Bergen. During the season admission costs 25 NOK.
The name itself has unclear origins Flakstad word. "Flag" means the name of the island is a cliff. Mature Vargfot, Which means wolf's paw, as the outlines of the island may cast.

Beautiful and typically northern shot, with the low light and bright reds. Nice clarity here, with a great POV setting the buildings in front of this cliff face.

Hello Monika
The old red wooden church stands out very well in the green field. The white house and the red shed is a nice addition. The moutain that rises straight behind the buildings works well as a backdrop for this rural scene. A lovely composition, very well done:) TFS. Have a nice evening.
Best regards, Erling
