On a daytrip in the mountains just outside Bodø. After a long and steep climb, the reward is a magnificent view towards the city.

Your photo depicts tranquillity. The soft colours please the eye. The silvery cast sea adds wealth in this composition.

Hi Jon,

I really like the inclusion of the person in the foreground, as this really reflects what the picture means to me - somewhere I could stand or sit for hours just taking in the view! It's a beautiful view and nicely composed. It's a little soft in the shadowed areas on the left hand side, but detail and depth everywhere else is good.

The presence of a person in a picture is often very nice, adding a great depth to the picture. I also use it a lot (see this picture for example). But then, you should not put this person in the center, rather on the left when she looks to the right.
But nice landscape anyway
