Photographer’s Note

Bodo is a little town not really attractive but just before the famous Lofoten Islands, wonderful islands. The downtown is boring but if you have a walk just around, you have pleasant places, really natural and wild, able for "meditating" a lot in front of the sea, the wind in the hair and with your best friend : the silence !

I like the feeling this picture gives me..a little sad but I guess it is because of sunset (always make me sad)...I tried to see what happens if smoothed out..though I like grains, because of the title I just wanted to give it a try..

Une superbe image !
Le fait que le personnage se trouve juste dans la partie lumineuse de l'eau apporte beaucoup à cette scène, je trouve.
Un seul petit bémol : la pureté des lignes aurait été complète si la tête n'avait pas coupé la ligne d'horizon de l'eau. Mais c'est un peu un détail et peut-être n'était-il pas possible de te surélever au moment de la prise de vue.
Le ciel est fabuleux aussi.
Reposant et vraiment réussi, bravo Guillaume !

Une excellente composition et une image très zen! Le n/b est propice au sujet et le fort contraste me plait beaucoup. On la contemple en...silence.

What a beautiful peaceful photo. The B&W is done so well in this photograph. Each subject blends in very nice.
