Photographer's Note
The Finnmark is the northern state of continental Norway and is situated between 68.50° and 71° North. The main cities are Alta, Hammerfest and Kirkenes. This pictures shows its typical and beautiful coast with cliffs and low and quite flat mountains. The light was just incredible. It is ca. 7 am in the middle of Mars. The sun was just rising. Taken from the South bound Coastal Steamer between Honningsvåg and Havøysund. Honningsvåg, on the Magerøya Island is the northern city in Europe. On the foreground, you can se the Store Altsula Island and in the background, you can see the mountain Bismerhallen, on Magerøya Island. The North cape 71°10 N, is situated on this island.

Nice morning light.
Contrast of the photo looks a bit low - I think snow could be brighter. I have tried to do a quick workshop - brightened the snow covered shore and the sky while keeping the original colors and dark sea.
