Photographer’s Note
Sørvær (a tropicold paradise #2, #3 and #4) must surely be one of the world's norternmost fishing stations. It now has approx 300 inhabitants, a number similar to that of the first population census in 1520 (31 families).
In between now and then there have been ups and downs, the latter for instance when the local fish processing industry went bankrupt in 2001 and 110 (!) workers lost their jobs.
Along with the rest of the region, Sørvær was burnt by the retreating German army in 1944. Apparently, the only building standing after the war was a pit privy.

Informative & beautiful shot,Edvard!
I really like it for vivid colors you well captured & also nice reflections here, too.
The red in blue ,here,is a very strong element & attractive.
And your composition really is excellent.
You did great.
Respectfully.

The picture has the right balance of colours: it is clearly evident that this water is not very warm. The colour of boats is there to bring some luminousity in this cold place.

Beautiful shot and very interesting note. Why don't do a more deep reportage on this fishermen community?

Crispy clear image with lovely colours and details. Light is fine, outlining the houses and boats in a nice way. Seems very calm and tranquil place. Well done!

Paradoxs of this world: in other parts too many people, here the same number of inhabitants like in 1520 and it doens't seem to me a desolate place.
Good composition and colours. I am agree with Jeanclaude: I'd like to know better this fishermen community.

Lovely composition with this glassy water in the foreground Edvard. The colours are beautiful with all the red adding drama to the cooler colours. Very interesting and pretty scene, well captured.

Very informative note, I can´t even imagine a 300 population... and 110 jobs sounds like ALL working adults!! (i guess there are some retired folks and some kids?)
beautiful photo, and being true to this place, you are showing clear unpolluted water and air with a crisp definition, good contrast and nice saturation.
(did you run unsharp mask?)

I'm 100% Norwegian who has come no closer to the country of my family's origin than Copenhagen. I very much appreciate seeing images from Norway, especially fine, crystal clear photos like this one. In my judgment the image could afford to be cropped a bit more. I decided to play with it a bit and a came up with a workshop for you to consider. Regardless, I love your homeland and appreciate your sharing these images with us.
