Finnmark III: Going to work Photo

Photographer’s Note

Leaving the port of Honningsvåg, early this morning of mars, this small boat was probably going to fish. The sun just rised and the light was intense and pure. this is the view of the
continental coast.
Picture taken from the South bound Hurtigruten (costal steamer) at 6 pm during its call in Honningsvåg.
The Finnmark is the northern state of continental Norway and is situated between 68.50° and 71° North. The main cities are Alta, Hammerfest and Kirkenes. Honningsvåg, on the Magerøya Island is the northern city in Europe. The North cape 71°10 N, is situated on this island.

Hallo Samuel!
What an atmosphere! Nearly breathtaking! I've been there some years ago. You can't show Finnmarken and it's beauty and wideness in a better way. A great picture!

Bonjour Samuel,

Belle ambiance hivernale de la vie quotidienne dans cet immense et lointain Finnmark. Vie quotidienne essentiellement tournée vers la mer, la pêche. Les eaux sont libres de glace pendant tout l'hiver arctique de ce coté-ci de l'océan, grâce à la providentielle dérive nord-atlantique du Golf Stream qui vient mourir et disparaître sur ces cotes norvégiennes très septentrionales.
La superficie du Finnmark est équivalente à celle du Danemark.

J'aime beaucoup la lumiére que tu as parfaitement prise , le cadrage aussi est super!
Peut étre un poil trop sombre au premier plan , mais c'est tout bon !
