This is the river de Vecht flewing through Weesp.
In the 17th century rich merchants from Amsterdam built houses along this river between Utrecht and Weesp to enjoy the country life.
Still is living on de Vecht in North Holland a synonym for a rich and pleasant life.

een heel mooi beeld genomen vanaf een knap POV. Spijtig dat er nogal veel "ruis" in de wolken en hemel is. Zonder dit zou dit één van de beste foto's geweest zijn de laatste tijd.

Wonderfull scene very well captured. Amazzimng colors and many nice "hidden" details.
The "Van Gogh" bridge at back is still an evidence of ageold dutch technology which does not have any competition throughout the continent.

Beautiful this red tree and the leaves in the ground.Would be a peaceful place to live and I imagine that it is very expensive to live there, it's just for rich people, surely.

You have a wonderful series of autumn images with gorgeous colours. The red boat also catches the eye and you placed it perfectly in the frame. The perspective leads the eye nicely to teh bridge. I always associate this type of bridge with your country.

Les couleurs sont superbes, la saison automnale a le don de transformer avec bonheur notre environnement.
Le cadrage a été choisi avec soin pour donner à cette composition un effet de perspective. Je remarque également la présence d'un pont mobile parfaitement placé dans la composition.

Reminds me of a painting by a Dutch Old Master, with the view of the canal bridge and, especially, that particular light. A pleasing well balanced composition with good juxtaposition between the man in a boat and the tree on the far bank. Good colours and, as I said, a very pleasing ambient light.

You take good profit of the light and colours of Autumn in Netherlands for your photos. You have a respectable collection of beautiful Autumn views like this one. You did a wonderful compo using the river, the lane on the margin and the red boat. The only thing that I like less is the noise and grain on the sky.

I really like this picture! It's colorful and the lights on the elements are pretty well managed as well! The viewpoint was well-chosen and from that you have composed it very nicely! My favorite feature in it is the contrast of light and shadow between the left and the right side of the photo! Very beautiful, interesting and pleasant!

Olá Gerrit, fine perspective of the path and cannal. I'm not sure about the 'sphere' at left FG, but at the same time I find it a funny inclusion :D Better is the inclusion of the red boat. The autumnal colors are wonderful.
