Veteran's Day in the Netherlands is a day to give all Dutch veterans the acknowledgement and respect they deserve.
After the parading groups of the previous postings, now a few cars rollin' by, full of confidence! Are these the modern-day cowboys? ;-)

Technical note:
During Veteran's Day, I stuck to my 105mm f/2.0 DC lense. Frontal defocus f/2.0, creating a more intense foreground blur on the driver.

Hello Dennis,
Pourquoi tant de violence ?! ;-) Une image à la profondeur de champ très bien choisie et à la luminosité parfaite.
Je ne sais pas si le sujet me plait vraiment car l'arme qui y apparait n'est pas la meilleur production du génie humain et qu'elle est presque pointé sur l'observateur.
J'aime par contre le sourire joviale du conducteur !

Hi Dennis,
I like this one for the contrast between these two expressions. The driver gives you a nice and friendly smile, seems to relax, while the other one seems to be so bored being there :-)) It is funny.
The bokeh is still creamy but you added some spangles which make it brighter :p

Ik heb gekeken naar youtube, ik kon zelfs genieten van de muziek.
Uw reeks over het leger en deze met de blauwhelmen is zeker niet slecht, de niet meer zo jonge soldaat waarvan ik de graad niet kan zien, bediend hier een gevaarlijk wapen, om te dreigen is dit goed, maar om te schieten iets minder.
De kwaliteit van de foto is prima. Bedankt.
