hi Fulvio,
saw this gem just before leaving for office, cannot resist staying for a moment :) love the light, golden on the trees, menacing on the clouds, copper red on the roof. beautiful, just what I need to see before this crazy day really starts.

Hoi Fulvio,
Lees net je comment op de mijne, bedankt man, waardeer ik echt. Ondanks die molen in je vorige vind ik dit vele malen mooier. De compositie is top, maar de kleuren zijn zo heftig zonder in elkaar over te lopen dat ik dit nog het beste gedeelte vind. RGB heten ze, Rood, Groen en Blauw, dat zien we dus hier, 3 dominante kleuren heel mooi samenwerkend in het pallet...strakke plaat..!!!

lucky you to find such nice lightened foreground against that also beautiful cloudy sky. Beautiful seen and very good work!
Regarding your note, we brazilians usually say: "Pau que nasce torto, nunca se indireita" which means "Wood that is born tilted, it never gets straight"...sorry for the poor translation but I think you know we can say that for almost any politician. :))

Your composition is great here using the curving road to lead the eye through the shot. The off center placement of the house works well here. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The sky is great and adds a lot to the shot.

Hi, Fulvio -

We're just back in this morning from 2,300+ miles trip around the NW, and kind of wiped, but I did stop in to see what's new. The lighting is odd, but as you say, that's part of the challenge. Nice composition here, even if the lamp is tilted. ;-) Interesting how the top of the tree makes the scene divided in half (horizontally).

ja zeer fraai Fulvio,
het kleuren pallet is fraai, zelf zou ik bij een dergelijke compositie iets meer naar recht gaan, zodat het mooie huis rechts iets meer ruimte krijgt, het licht is prachtig, dus komt het hier aan op perfectie, probeer een iets betere compositie neer te zetten a iets meer naar rechts, zodat het huis meer ruimte krijg en probeer te kijken als een schilder. Ik denk dat je dan een perfecte compositie neer kan zetten. Probeer het eens uit en zeker als deze schans binnen fiets afstand is. goed werk. prettige avond.

Hi Fulvio,
Weer een prachtig plaatje van de Zaanse Schans. Het licht is geweldig en zorgt voor zulke mooie, diepe kleuren. Vooral het groen steekt mooi af tegen de blauwe wolkenlucht. Mooi werk, bedankt!

lol, fulvio. the other night i had a dream. and I swear, THIS was the light i was dreaming about. i was RUNNING to get my camera, but there was some darned water (river flooding or something) that was preventing me from getting it... anyway, the house was not there; and the lamp-post wasn't there either. just the light and the bush. so, must have been a different place. anyway, what am i mumbling about here. my compliments to your wonderful shot, friend!

Hi Fulvio,
This is a stunning countryside image with incredibly clear crisp colors and razor sharp details.
Love the lamp post, dramatic stormy sky, lush green tree bending in the wind.
I too hope on my bike with camera in hand with no particular landscape in mind.
