Windmill The Salamander fulfil a double function in Leidschendam.
This impressive windmill (build in 1792) near the Vliet is not only a valid saw-mill, but it’s also a museum of historical elements.

Hi Vanessa.
What a strange windmill...The light are good and it helps to show the strong colours.Mau be I was cropped a little at right in order to remove the house near the windmill,and to put off-cetre the windmill,but in spite of this it seems to me a beautiful and colorful shot,TFS.

Your composition and POV are great here showing the windmill from and angle to gives the photo nice depth. The pathway and canal create nice diagonals through the shot giving the photo a nice sense of direction. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail.

Hallo Vanessa,
Ik heb je werk nog niet eerder gezien hier, maar ben blij je te hebben gevonden ;-) Al je foto's hebben een kleursetting die mij erg aanspreekt. Volle diepe kleuren, lekker dik en vet in het contrast en verzadiging. Prachtig, ik mag zoiets graag zien. En dan ook nog een oer Hollandse molen posten is helemaal top. Altijd een dankbaar onderwerp en als ik kijk naar scherpte, detailering and compositie dan heb je er echt iets moois van gemaakt.
Die groene letetrs vind ik iets minder, maar doet niets af aan de foto opzicht, die is echt mooi.

A nice composition with well saturated colors. You've also featured a good level of detail and sharpness. Although I find the green boarder with large graphic overpowering, the image is very well seen.

de foto is echt zeer fraai Vanessa,
mijn complimenten voor het zo goed in beeld nemen van deze fraaie molen. kwaliteit is hier het spreekwoord. De frame eromheen ben ik echter niet zo kapot van en doet de foto niet echt eer aan. Vanessa een tip van mij, hou de frame's simpel en zet er geen tekst in, verder prachtig fotowerk. prettig weekend.

Abstractie makend van je nogal zware kader, vindt ik deze een zeer leuke molen, mooi in perspectief genomen met contrasterende zonnige kleuren en veel details zoals nog even de relectie van de bomen in de hoek, een leuke foto Vanessa.

tres bon cadrage avec une gestion de la luminositee tres bien gerer , felicitations.

toutes les fotos que j'ai vu dans ta galerie je les trouve tres belles elles sont toutes dignes de faire des cartes postales


et moi aussi je ne met pas de points par courtoisie je note les fotos par ce que j'ai un ressentit en les voyant

Hello Vanessa,
Lovely typical dutch scene--with great colours and ,lighting and detail. I have not seen these 'pilliated' trees for some time.
I might suggest a lighter coloured frame. This one is very 'heavy' and overpowers the image.
