[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Evening in central Leiden.
Taken at 17:29 soon after sunset from one of the bridges over Oude Vest.
Camera settings: 24 mm zoom, AV mode, +0.3 EV exposure compensation, ISO-200, mirror lockup+ self timer.
Converted from Raw with color temperature set to 3100K.
In workshops I have uploaded two other version of the same image, converted from Raw with color temperature set to 2350K (too cold colors) and 5000K (too warm colors).

Hello Linas,
I think you've managed in a master way the light conditions here, using a long exposure. The combinationa of "blue hour" colours and the colour of artificial light make this picture very pleasant. In my oppinion you could crop the lower part of the picture because of the better composition. But the reflections in the water are so beautiful..!

You did a good job getting a clear picture with a 2 second exposure. I see the the flags on the right fluttered quite a bit during the exposure.

Looks like the horizon might need to be rotated counterclockwise a degree or so. A color temperature of 3100K gives you a lot of warm tones. I wonder what a higher color temperature might look like.

Wonderful exposure, Linas! You managed the light very well as well as the depth of the field. The point of view is also perfect enhancing the perspective. The colours are amazing especially sky's. In TrekEarth I learnt that this is the "blue hour".

the POV is lovely, leading the eye all the way.
