Great shot Jaap - You call it an esay shot - but the fact are you where at the right spot at the right moment and got your camera ready :-) - which not always easy.
You spotted a very fine line of trees and the clouds and the movement of the trees makes me feel the wind - thanks for sharing - I like it very much.

Belle composition qui évoque le plat pays des polders. Le ciel est particulièrement valorisé avec toutes ses nuances de gris et les petites tâches bleues (que l'on appelle culotte de gendarme par chez nous) Cadrage artistique avec cette belle courbe. Beautiful sky indeed Jaap. This is a very simple image of not really spectacular scenery made special by your point of view at the edge of the road, the curving lines of the road and planted trees, all beneath a gorgeous sky, Fine capture, with soft, inviting summer colors.

you really can feel like a painter, can't you ? excellent color balance showing structure of clouds while maintaining also greens and blue sky. you masterized lightning here to achieve this. And one can feel the wind blowing through the field.

It is maybe easy shot, but very beautiful scene Jaap! Such a clouds, and trees wich goes with a wind... Very nice frame too. I like it. Well done.

Ik heb gekeken met de ogen van een pentekenaar, de rij bomen geven een goed perspectief, de wolken vervullen de foto met het onwaarschijnlijke, de hoogspanningsleidingen zou de schilder er vermoedlijk aflaten. Eenvoudig foto, maar mag gezien worden!

Fully agree with your note, Jaap, nothing to add to your humble opinion :-), BUT one minor, although substantive remark: ART is, what you can describe verbally, by pure notions constructed in logic structures, what you can define, PLUS SOMETHING ELSE. Your picture, despite its simplicity and despite your very ambitious and interesting attempt to define it fully, containes that "something else" - a mystery of art, which could be seen in music and smelled in pictures, which can be only felt.

LE cadrage ici est trés bien il met en valeur la scene et le lieu.
LEs cables sur le fond ne derange pas pour moi bien au contraire car le chemin nous guide justement vers eux.
L'effet de grand vent sur les arbres est bien present.

Well, I'm not sure if it would be easy to see for everybody else, Jaap, but fortunately you have the photographer's eye as we have seen many times before. As always the great depth from your composition with the bending road and the row of wind-bent trees along it. Good colors and another fine use of the grand Dutch sky. Well done.

Prachtig Jaap, je moet inderdaad een oog hebben voor deze elementaire schoonheid - en dat heb je! Prachtig diep en gecurvde compo, mooi die bomen in de wind en de Hollandse lucht. Pure polderplaat - erg goed werk.

Oh yes, miraculous skies here !
A so good composition with a nice perspective generated by this trees line and the road.
A centring of course focused on the sky and a wind playing its role to emphasize the weather conditions rendered here.
This shot is probably easy to be taken if the eye of the photographer has an artistical sense. In this case it's so true !

This is a beautiful landscape Jaap. Very nice curved path and line of trees, wonderful sky. The textures are crisp on the land and soft on the clouds, it is so well rendered. I fully agree with you, looking through the eyes of a painter give awesome sceneries, like yours here. I like it very much.

Le cadrage est parfaitement réussit , j'aime voir les arbres et leur position sur la photo , j'aime aussi la lumiere qui est tres belle et le ciel , beau travail .

Well this is not such an easy shot because it's very well composed. It's perfectly balanced. The first tree has the perfect heighht in the frame functioning as a starting point. Then all the other trees and the road create guiding lines for us to look into the landscape.

Jaap, you may call this shot easy, I can tell you that most would make the image worhtless, simply because it would never have been taken. Many, including me, probably wouldn't see the beauty hidden in the wind.
This is quiet and lovely shot, I can feel the cool wing blowing, very well done.
Too bad the wires and electrical poles are there, they somewhat take away from the rural beauty of the image, but I like the image neverthless.
