Photographer’s Note
In our garden we have a couple of pigeons that are nesting. Whenever there is not much activity in the garden the parents come out and start looking for food in the grass.
I took a number of shots to finally end up with this one where the lighting on the head is good.
I PP'd this with a C1pro trial license and adapated levels and sharpness.

Jan, goed gelukte plaat van deze houtduif. Mooi licht en scherp. De foto is qua compositie een beetje vlak door de horizontale positie van de duif. Misschien dat je een andere manier van beeldopbouw kunt proberen? Bijvoorbeeld een vierkante foto met de duif in een hoek of zo (maar dan moet het origineel natuurlijk wel meer gras bevatten). Speel er maar eens wat mee. Een (zwart) frame om zo’n vierkante foto werkt meestal ook best goed.
