Hearlem is the old name of Haarlem,the beautiful historic town I often visit because I am living just 20 minutes from there.
Overhere the Spaarne canal with the old mill "De Adriaan" and last but not least the ""dome-prison" on the left.

Hi Jan,
Well executed shot of this windmill. The clarity and composition are good and the inclusion of the boat adds interest and movement to an otherwise empty expanse of water.

The colours are bold and I love that sky!

Classic Netherlands! The old windmill looks great by itself, but then when you add in the canal, and the vintage boats also this really becomes something out of another era. Great sky too, which completes the scene so well. Excellent work!

Hej Jan,
Een prachtig en zonnig plaatje van Haarlem met zowel de Adriaan als de koepelgevangenis er goed op. Bovendien een mooie wolkenlucht op de achtergrond. Dat bootje op het Spaarne is een uitstekende toevoeging. Mooi werk!
